Free VHDA Homeownership Classes Set For Northern Virginia In November

RICHMOND, Va. – October 25, 2008 – (RealEstateRama) — Are you interested in becoming a homeowner but don’t know where to begin? The Virginia Housing Development Authority and local nonprofits are offering free homeownership education classes throughout November in Northern Virginia.

Homeownership education classes cover topics including personal finances, credit issues, the role of lenders, working with real estate agents, home inspections and mortgage closings. To become eligible for VHDA loans, borrowers must complete VHDA’s Homeownership Class. Attend one of the many free sessions below to learn about the advantages of homeownership.
