U.S. Green Building Council to Hold LEED Workshop in Loudoun

Leesburg, VA – September 16, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — The Loudoun County Department of Construction & Waste Management is sponsoring a workshop by the U.S. Green Building Council on “LEED Core Concepts & Strategies,” Monday, September 28, 2009, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Loudoun County Fire & Rescue Training Center, Auditorium 1 in the Main Building, 16600 Courage Court, Leesburg. 

The workshop provides essential knowledge of the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Rating Systems and sustainable building concepts for those seeking a better understanding of LEED or pursuing GBCI’s LEED Green Associate credential. Real project examples help demonstrate and reinforce learning.

The workshop qualifies for Continuing Education Credits: AIA, CSI, BOMI, and IFMA.

Cost: USGBC Members $345 and Non-members $445.
