Homebuyers and Real Estate Professionals Wanted for Website Focus Groups
Leesburg VA – September 6, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Loudoun County is inviting potential or recent homebuyers and real estate professionals to participate in focus groups to test newly-created Loudoun County Homebuyer Education web pages. After exploring the pages, the focus groups will give feedback to ensure that the pages are easy to navigate and contain information needed for buyers to make informed decisions when purchasing a home or property in Loudoun County.
The web pages, which are currently in draft form, were created by the Homebuyer Education Task Force, which was established by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. The pages are intended to provide homebuyers, builders, realtors and others with an online resource for getting up-to-date, important information that should be considered before a home or property is purchased.
The focus groups will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011, at the Loudoun County Government Center in Leesburg and will include an overview of the pages, a property search exercise, and a facilitated discussion. The morning session, hosting real estate professionals, will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon, and the afternoon session, hosting people who have recently purchased homes or are potential homebuyers, will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
For more information and to register for one of the focus groups, contact Robin Geiger at robin.geiger (at) loudoun (dot) gov or 703-771-5511.
