Hampton Seeking Citizens To Serve As Members Of The Hampton Federal Area Development Authority

Hampton, VA - August 28, 2008 - (RealEstateRama) —The Hampton City Council is seeking seven (7) Hampton residents to serve on the Hampton Federal Area Development Authority (Hampton FADA).

The Hampton FADA was created in 2007 to enable more efficient cooperation with the federal government and to increase the value of federal installations in the City of Hampton by promoting the development of federal employee housing, office buildings and other infrastructure through increased coordination between military, private industry, and academic research institutions creating innovative opportunities that foster economic growth focused on tangible benefits for our citizens. The goals of the Hampton FADA are to increase employment opportunities, strengthen the economic base and increase tax revenues.
