Virginia REALTORS® To Meet Feb. 12-15 in Richmond

Richmond, Va.—February 4 is the deadline for on-time registration for the annual Virginia Association of REALTORS® (VAR) Legislative & Education Conference, scheduled for February 12-15 at The Omni Richmond Hotel in Richmond, VA.

More than 500 Realtors and real estate specialists from around the state are expected to attend the meeting, which is timed to coincide with legislative events at the General Assembly. Members will be able to attend educational sessions and visit with their legislators during “Realtor Day on the Hill” events on Feb. 13. Education topics will include fair housing, the state’s economy and housing trends, ethics and professional standards, and technology. Continuing education and post-licensure credits will be awarded for many of the educational sessions.

Awards that will be presented during the annual awards banquet include VAR Sales Associate of the Year, Property Manager of the Year, Code of Ethics Leadership Award, Manager of the Year, and Outstanding Real Estate Educator of the Year. In addition, the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) will present their Service to Virginia Award to a Realtor who provides outstanding service to multicultural communities. RPAC (Realtor Political Action Committee) awards will also be presented.
