The number of persons in families with children experiencing homelessness declined by nearly 11 percent and the number of individuals experiencing homelessness declined by nearly 5 percent. However, the number of individuals experiencing chronic homelessness - individuals living with mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and chronic health conditions - increased slightly by 1 percent.
