WASHINGTON, D.C. — (RealEstateRama) — Last Saturday, August 19th, Bill White, President, VAR, offered the continued support of REALTORS® at a Homes for Our Troops groundbreaking ceremony for a Virginia Veteran and his family just miles away from the VAR Headquarters. Bill thanked Sergeant J.P. McGuire and his family for their service to our nation.

As the building process begins for a new home to accommodate J.P., REALTORS® are proud to continue a significant partnership with Homes for Our Troops to help make homes happen for these heroes in our communities.Virginia REALTORS® have helped make several homes happen for Virginia Veterans in our communities, and with many more projects underway, we’re just getting started!

Homes for Our Troops is a national non-profit organization that builds mortgage-free homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans and their families.

This summer, the REALTOR® Young Professionals Network of Virginia (YPNVA) has set a personal goal to help the Virginia Association of REALTORS® raise $10,000 in 10 weeks (July 4th – September 5th) for Homes for Our Troops. With only 12 days left, your support is key!

Your gift to this YPNVA initiative in partnership with the Virginia Association of REALTORS® will help ensure that homes are built for our Virginia heroes and their families.
